Hi, I'm Alifia. 

A registered Nutritional Therapist. I studied Biomedicine & Naturopathic Nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, London.  I am a member of The Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and registered with the General Naturopathic Council (GNC). 

I am also an NLP Practitioner/Mind Coach, accredited by The Complimentary Medical Association and International Association of NLP Coaches. I strive to continuously seek and extend my knowledge, and further, pursuing further studies in ADHD Awareness and a diploma in Dealing with Depression.

My personal journey started in 2008 after having glandular fever. A few years later, after the loss of my father, pre-eclampsia and a premature baby, I began experiencing constant body pain, hormonal problems and debilitating chronic fatigue, limiting my social life and ending my management career in I.T.

I spent many years at home, in pain, constantly bloated, suffering with anxiety, low mood and low self-esteem. My blood sugars were all over the place, and having had pre-eclampsia, this left me fighting with hypertension. My diet choices did not help, and procrastination set in!! 

Moving forward, I decided it was time to change things, and I needed to find answers. I went on to studying Biomedicine and Naturopathic Nutrition.  

Having explored the world of nutrition has not only opened me up to understanding my own health needs, and finding root causes, but also regain my confidence and mood. It has allowed me to make informed choices for myself, help my family and friends, and educate others to make the right choices too.

Do you need motivation?

Having worked with women experiencing peri-menopause, menopause, weight gain, hypothyroidism, blood sugar issues, and digestive complaints, these have all been individual cases, hence, 'no one solution, fits all!' I tailor all my plans to the individual, as what may work for one, may not always work the same for another!

I look into your current and past health, family history, and any medications (past and present). This information provides an individualised picture of your current health status, therefore the suggestions I offer will also be individual to YOUR needs.

I understand current lifestyles can make it very difficult to stick to a plan, especially with stressful jobs and family commitments. I will help motivate and support you along the way, keeping you on track to achieving your goals!
